smartTable: Version 1.0.0
General
New Features & Improvements
- The first version of the smartTools Platform is released. It is designed to also cover end user scenarios and requirements. It includes:
- Complete revamp of the User Interface.
- Supported UI Languages: English and German.
- Login and Sign Up process improvements.
- Backend enhancements to better support different roles.
- smartTable section has been added, providing table extraction from images. Functionalities are available for users with the smartTable role.
Known Limitations
- On mobile, the user creation process triggers some text spill outs and text overlay.
- The UI is not intended as “mobile first”.

- Model was primarily trained on invoices.
- In addition to Latin, Cyrillic is also supported (especially Macedonian).
- Various pre & post-processing functionalities were introduced for better extractions.
- The Table Detection Threshold is now available.
- Output file formats include XLSX and CSV.
Known Limitations
- On some screen resolutions, the smartTable settings sections is known to cause some text overlap.
