smartTable: Version 1.0.0

General

New Features & Improvements

  • The first version of the smartTools Platform is released. It is designed to also cover end user scenarios and requirements. It includes:
    • Complete revamp of the User Interface.
    • Supported UI Languages: English and German.
    • Login and Sign Up process improvements.
    • Backend enhancements to better support different roles.
    • smartTable section has been added, providing table extraction from images. Functionalities are available for users with the smartTable role.

Known Limitations

  • On mobile, the user creation process triggers some text spill outs and text overlay.
  • The UI is not intended as “mobile first”.

  • The smartTable section has been added, providing extraction from images.
  • Model was primarily trained on invoices.
  • In addition to Latin, Cyrillic is also supported (especially Macedonian).
  • Various pre & post-processing functionalities were introduced for better extractions.
  • The Table Detection Threshold is now available.
  • Output file formats include XLSX and CSV.

Known Limitations

  • On some screen resolutions, the smartTable settings sections is known to cause some text overlap.
