# Laigo

> Laigo is a German technology company that builds on-premise and air-gapped AI systems:
> artificial intelligence that runs entirely inside an organisation's own infrastructure, so
> sensitive data never leaves the controlled processing environment and is never sent to a
> third-party AI cloud.

Laigo GmbH is headquartered in Friedrichshafen, Germany, with a second office in Skopje,
North Macedonia. It was founded by Michael Bauner (CEO & Co-Founder) and Holger Häffelin

Laigo's customers are organisations in regulated sectors — public administration, legal,
healthcare, insurance, logistics and manufacturing — that need generative AI but cannot
move sensitive data into public cloud services for data-protection, security or
sovereignty reasons.

This site is bilingual. English is served at the bare URL and German under /de/ (for
example https://laigo.ai/laigo-gpt/ and https://laigo.ai/de/laigo-gpt/). The two are the same
content, not separate pages.
